About
Much of my current research is devoted to two book-length projects, one more immediate, the other longer term. "Archive of the Animal: Science, Sacrifice, and the Parchment Inheritance," which I'm finishing up this year, considers the parchment legacy and what it tells us about the material history of human-animal relations. "The Work of God: Liturgical Culture and Vernacular Writing in Britain, 550-1550," which I've been working on for a very long time, explores the role of liturgy as a shaping force for vernacular literary production in medieval Britain, from the earliest Irish poetry to the Book of Common Prayer. Articles that will feed into both projects are included among the papers to your left.
